IRS Golf League Outing

A.J. Jolly Golf Course

We could not have picked a better day for the Outing, and A.J. Jolly course was in wonderful condition.

Extra special thanks to Mark Halpin for putting together the goodie bags and especially with a little bottle of courage inside.  And a big thanks to Mark for getting our dinners at cost from his business at Ft. Wright Guthrie’s Chicken.  And Thanks to Jeff Elsbernd on working out the delivery of the dinners.

Thanks go to the Outing Committee Team Anderson (Brian Anderson, Mark Halpin, and Ed Miller) for putting together and planning the Outing.

Thanks to Treasurer Chuck Reckers for having all the finances in order prior to the Outing with minimal registration required at the course.  Also thanks to Chuck for donating the snacks for the Goodie Bags.

Here is hoping everyone enjoyed the donuts which were compliments of Outgoing League Secretary Charlie Halpin.

And thanks to Brian Lambdin and his crew at A.J. Jolly for having a wonderful course and their excellence in servicing our needs on the course and at the clubhouse.

Thanks go to Jim Bramlage for taking pictures during the Outing and Presentations.

And my final words for this season:

I have enjoyed my nine years as secretary for the league but need to take a break for at least a couple of years.  My hopes are someone will step forward and take over the secretary duties (this is a well-compensated position).  Training will be provided.  And as always I wish to thank everyone (regulars, subs, and guest) for making this season and the Outing another good one while still dealing with the Covid-19 virus.  Hope everyone has a wonderful fall and winter, stay healthy, and hope to see you all next Spring.
