IRS Golf League Outing – A.J. Jolly Golf Course

Special thanks to Farlon Smith and Beechmont Toyota for sponsoring the Hole-In-One contest on the Par 3 holes.  Farlon extends his thanks to all the league/family members who have purchased vehicles from Beechmont Toyota.  For league members/family/friends in the market for a new or used vehicle contact Farlon for some special VIP treatment.

Thanks to Randy Johnson of Beechmont Toyota for coming out to the course on his day off to be the witness for Hole #6 (Hole-In-One Toyota Camry 2 year lease).  Randy was recognized with a gift certificate to Montgomery Inn.

Extra special thanks to Mark Halpin for the door prizes he was able to donate from the Space Cowboy Group (Independence Donatos Pizza/Whit’s Frozen Custard and the Ft. Wright Guthrie’s Chicken).

Thanks go to Team Anderson (Brian Anderson, Mark Halpin, Tim Feldman, and Ed Miller) for putting together and planning the Outing.  As in years past Team Anderson arrived at the course at 8 a.m. to set up the registration table, door prizes, and ensure everything was ready to go.  They had help with putting the door prizes together at Mark Halpin’s house.  Thanks to Bill Zachritz, Ken Thoerner, and Chuck Reckers for their help on that.

Thanks to Treasurer Chuck Reckers for arriving early and being on hand to finish up the payments and other finances to speed up the registration.   And thanks to Chuck for trying to help League President Tom Schumacher get his car started to no avail and getting Tom to the course.

As always, Mark Halpin with his laptop skills got the scores posted and ready for presentation before dinner.

Thanks go to Jim Bramlage for taking pictures during the Outing and Presentations.

For those who had dinner I hope everyone enjoyed their meal, Express Catering served an excellent meal and their Dessert was the best.

And thanks to Brian Lambdin and his crew at A.J. Jolly for having a wonderful course and their excellence in servicing our needs on the course.

And the numbers in from Treasurer Chuck Reckers is that we were right on for breaking even for the Outing.  Well done Chuck.
