Before this match I had the odds in favor of the #1 Seed Team Anderson (the Shirts) winning.  The only Birdie was by Tim Feldman on #3.  Front card had Team Kientz up by 6 strokes.  Back card had Brian Anderson up by 6 strokes and Tim Feldman vs. Mike Schwarberg tied.  Team medal was split between both teams.  Several recounts on the cards and Team Kientz took the win by 9 points.

Some of the highlights of this match:

Mark Halpin shoots a 47 (getting 1 stroke) vs. Jim Westcott’s 43.  Jim wins medal by 3 strokes.

Ed Miller shoots a 45 (even strokes) vs. Cecil Begley’s 42.  Cecil wins by 3 strokes.

Brian Anderson shoots a 41 (even strokes) vs. Chuck Reckers’ 47.  Brian Anderson wins by 6 strokes.

Tim Feldman shoots a 43 (giving 3 strokes) with 1 Birdie vs. Mike Schwarberg’s 46.  Tim and Mike tie on match and medal.
