Before this match I would have put the odds in favor of Team Zachritz winning.
The only Birdie was by Mark Caporale but that did not stop Jim Bramlage from shooting a 37 (4.4 under average) and bringing in the win for his team.  The match between Bill Zachritz vs. Tom Marsh and Donna Caporale vs. Ron Michael were ties and a stroke here or there could have changed the outcome.

Some of the highlights of this match:

Mark Caporale with a Birdie on #5 shoots a 42 (giving 1 stroke) vs. Jim Bramlage’s 37.  Jim wins medal by 6 strokes.

Bill Zachritz  shoots a 41(giving 4 strokes) vs. Tom Marsh’s  45.  Bill and Tom tie on match & medal.

Donna Caporale shoots a 44 (giving 3 strokes) vs. Ron Michael’s 47.  Donna and Ron tie on match and medal.

Mike Finn shoots a 46 (giving 8 strokes) vs. Jim Fish’s 56.  Mike wins medal by 2 strokes.

Final results:  Team Bramlage wins team medal points by 4 strokes and wins match.

Yellow highlighted are holes that there were Skins.  There were 6 skins (each for 2 points).

Greenies and Long Putt were for 1 point each.

The skins/greenie/long putt pot had $260 in it.  $40 was added from the Eagle pot to round out the pot to $300.  There were 15 points awarded ($300 /15 = $20 per point)

Congratulations to Team Schumacher (Tom Schumacher, Jim Hill, Brian Anderson, Charlie Halpin) for winning 1st place in the Scramble.

Here is hoping everyone enjoyed playing the scramble format.  Thanks go to Scramble Chairman Jim Westcott for setting up the teams and calculating the placing and skins.  Also thanks to Erich Kientz for being the starter and getting everyone off the tee box timely.
