Which reminds me in all the sporting events when I put money on the Under – “It ain’t Under” until it’s “Over”!!!

APHORISMS / READ - UNDERSTAND - LEARN ---

“Complaining about a problem without posing a solution is called WHINING”!  Teddy Roosevelt

“Don’t blame a Clown for acting like a Clown – blame yourself for going to the Circus!”

Remember Einstein’s comment:  There is a major difference between intelligence and stupidity; intelligence has its limits.”

A WINNING WAGER

Bill Jones, the local athletic “champion”, was bragging about his physical prowess at the local bar.  None of the regulars challenged him.  But a visitor piped up, “I’ll bet you 20 dollars that I can wheel something in a wheelbarrow for one block and you can’t wheel it back.”

Bill looked the visitor over and decided that whatever the stranger could do, he could do it better.  “I’ll take you on,” he said.

The visitor, Bill, and a number of the regulars borrowed a wheelbarrow and took it to the corner.

The challenger smiled smugly, rubbed his hands, picked up the handles, and turned to Bill.  “OK, get in, Bill,” he said.

Skins—Greenies—Long Putt

Most of the regulars and subs in the league know about Skins, Greenies, and Long Putt. For those that do not, each week there will be a sheet and a box on one of the tables in the clubhouse.  The sheet will have the names of all the regulars and blank lines at the bottom for subs to write in their names. $3.00 entry fee for Skins; $1.00 entry fee for Greenies and $1.00 entry fee for Long Putt.  Place a check mark for each category for which you are participating.  If the Briefcase is not out notate on your scorecard your intent to play and pay when you complete your match.  First teams out please take the markers, last teams in please bring markers in.
