IRS Wednesday Golf
League Newsletter
Week 17 – August 18, 2021
Enough is enough:
Games pot was shorted $10 this week, all but 2 recap sheets had errors on them,
and play was so slow on the back nine that it took 3 hours for the last group
to finish due to slow play from the early groups. Then to top it off the briefcase and cash box
was sitting by itself with the cash box open and cash just jumbled up and
falling out when I got in the clubhouse.
Oh, and there is more. I really
appreciate someone putting their used chewing gum in with the scorecards (found
that when I got home). Seems some have
made my end of season decision a lot easier.
Remember this is every member’s league and I am not there to be your
servant.
Seems Lee Crouch
needs a little loving in the newsletter, so here it is.
Oh, and did I
mention that I despise ‘reply all’ on e-Mails.
