IRS Wednesday Golf League Newsletter

 Week 17 – August 18, 2021

Enough is enough: Games pot was shorted $10 this week, all but 2 recap sheets had errors on them, and play was so slow on the back nine that it took 3 hours for the last group to finish due to slow play from the early groups.  Then to top it off the briefcase and cash box was sitting by itself with the cash box open and cash just jumbled up and falling out when I got in the clubhouse.  Oh, and there is more.  I really appreciate someone putting their used chewing gum in with the scorecards (found that when I got home).  Seems some have made my end of season decision a lot easier.  Remember this is every member’s league and I am not there to be your servant.

Seems Lee Crouch needs a little loving in the newsletter, so here it is.

Oh, and did I mention that I despise ‘reply all’ on e-Mails.

·        Number 3 Seed is Team Halpin (35.5 points away from #2 Seed & 60.5 points from #1 Seed.

·        Number 4 Seed is Team Bramlage (up from #6 Seed)(73 points out from #1 Seed).

·        Number 6 Seed is now Team Zachritz (dropping from #4 Seed)(14 points from #4 Seed.

Division Standings (Only 90 points left up for grabs):

·        Division A has Team Kientz increasing their lead to 109 points over Defending Champs Team Anderson (They are Forked), with Team Flynn (They are Forked) 110 points out.  Team Pfeiffer remains at the top of the upside down points list and Forked.

·        Division B has Team Bramlage moving back into the lead with Team Zachritz dropping to 2nd place & Team Leirey in 3rd place 27 points out of the lead.  Team Schumacher is 69 points out was already Forked.

·        Division C has Team Vaughn holding the lead with Team Bachmann in 2nd place and 42 points out of the lead.  Team Buescher in 3rd place & Team Kiffmeyer in 4th place, both too far out and Forked.
