IRS Wednesday Golf League Newsletter

Week 14 - July 28, 2021

The League Outing is scheduled for September 10 at A.J. Jolly Golf Course.  From preliminary information from A.J. Jolly we will most likely have tee times again this year.  (Shot gun start would require at least 100 golfers.)  Estimated cost will be between $55 to $60 which will include golf, cart, lunch, soft drinks, water, and goodie bag.  No determination has been made on whether to have dinner which would be additional cost.   An email will be sent to the team captains to quarry who on their team will be at the outing and to contact their subs/friends to see who will be playing at the Outing.  Also, if all league members can check with their friends/relatives/co-workers to find more players maybe we can get our numbers up to have a shot gun start.

Again this week the Team Average page was taken and not put back with the briefcase.  It would be very much appreciated if it is returned to the briefcase after use as there are some teams that still need it and I use this to double check the recap sheets.  If by some chance you need a paper to write on there is a notebook in the briefcase that can be used.

Subs this week were:  Don Bazsika (for Team Bachmann); Steve Ruehl (for Team Bramlage); new sub Marcus Meiner (for Team Bramlage); Dave Vincent (for Team Breen); Jeff Barnhorst (for Team Breen); Jeff Witt (for Team Pfeiffer); and Mary Jo Leirey (for Team Hill).   Thanks for being there.

Seeding Watch:

·        Number 3 Seed is Team Kientz dropping from #2.
