IRS Wednesday Golf League Newsletter

Week 8 - June 16, 2021

Congratulations to Tom Schumacher for shooting 1 under par 34 and scooping up 3 skins, a greenie, and a long putt on the back nine.  Wow!!!

And the League Secretary finally got a Greenie on #14 (first on that hole ever) and taking it away from who other than Tom Schumacher.

Subs this week were:   Jeff Witt (for Team Buescher); Mary Jo Leirey (for Team Leirey); Greg Arkle (for Team Harms); and Dave Vincent (for Team Breen).  Thanks for being there.

League President’s Weakly Passage (Compliments of League President Tom Schumacher):

·        Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does."

·        "We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us."

NEWSFLASH!!!

Effective immediately Team Schumacher has officially been placed "ON THE KIFF!!!"

More to come regarding this recent development in future Newsletters!

The Weak Thoughts to Ponder:

-          The letter ‘W’ is made of two ‘V’, but it is pronounced as double ‘U’; why so?

-          Incorrect is spelled incorrect in a dictionary.

-          In an aircraft, which armrest is yours, if you sit in the middle?

-          Clapping hands is all about hitting yourself when you like something.

-          Photographs and images are either square or rectangular, but the camera lens is circular.

Sandbagger of the Weak (5 or more over average)(see Article IV of the League Rules):

Patrick Buescher – 7.2 over                                     Rick McErlane – 6.2 over

Jim Westcott – 5.4 over                                           Ed Miller – 5.4 over

Jim Fish – 5.4 over                                                  Ed Kiffmeyer – 5.0 over (2 week in a row)

Sandbaggers of the Weak before (5 or more under average):

Dave Gindele – 7.0 under                                        Tom Schumacher – 7.0 under

Lori Johnson – 6.8 under                                         Dale Schaber – 5.2 under

Pat Harms – 5.0 under (over 2 previous weeks)
