Week 8 – June 12, 2019

 

Condolences go out to Boyd Marley and family on the loss of his mother this past week.

 

The 9-hole green fee certificates were given out this past week to the Team Captains.  Certificates are for the 4 regular players on each team.

 

Second half green fees are due by June 26th.  Treasurer Chuck Reckers will be getting out the payment due to the team captains.  Team pouches will be in the briefcase for payment.

 

This past week we had 10 subs:   Dave Spaeth (Team Breen), Jonathan Behrens (Team Freeman), Don Bazsika (Team Freeman), Mike Schwarberg (Team Kientz), Vinny Consola (Team Buescher), Mike Espelage (Team Bachmann), Kevin Dyhouse (Team Bachmann), Kelly Johnson (Team Schumacher), Steve Ruehl (Team Leirey), and Carol Goldstone (Team Pfeiffer).  Thanks for being there.  Was good to see Dave Spaeth back on the course.

Status of the Almighty Fork:

The Fork has found some more done meat.    Receiving the Fork is Team Leirey and Team Pfeiffer.  Team Patmann saved themselves this week, however they are still on notice.  Team Anderson (the Shirts) lost to Team Halpin and are hereby Forked (Brain is mad).   Further Fork notice goes to any team losing to Team Halpin.

Forked Week 8:  Team Leirey and Team Pfeiffer.             Forked Week 9:  Team Anderson.

Skins—Greenies—Long Putt

Most of the regulars and subs in the league know about Skins, Greenies, and Long Putt. For those that do not, each week there will be a sheet and a box on one of the tables in the clubhouse.  The sheet will have the names of all the regulars and blank lines at the bottom for subs to write in their names. $3.00 entry fee for Skins; $1.00 entry fee for Greenies and $1.00 entry fee for Long Putt.  Place a check mark for each category for which you are participating.  If the Briefcase is not out, notate on your scorecard your intent to play and pay when you complete your match.  First teams out please take the markers, last teams in please bring markers in.
