IRS Wednesday Golf League Newsletter
June 11, 2014
The weather held out for most of the rounds this week. Last groups did get rained on a little but
nothing severe.
There were 10 Birdies this week.
Of special note is three by Ray Vaughn and three by Bill Brewer. Ray finished with a 34, 1 under par. Way to shoot Ray. I think retirement is helping his game.
Division leaders are: A Division Team Donlin, B Division Team Breen,
C Division Team Bunkelman, and D Division Team Anderson.
Team Anderson remains unbeaten and I think it may have to do with those shirts
they wear.
Seems like it is time for Fork. Team Schumacher as a matter of principle is
hereby Forked and Team Freeman is on thin ice and
could face the Fork soon. Maybe they
can talk to Team Anderson to see where they got their shirts.
Welcome back to Jay Ackerman (Team Kiffmeyer) and Rafael Gonzalez (Team
C. Halpin).
We had 5 subs this past week and one no-show. Subs were Melody Oswalt, Greg Arkle,
Carol Goldstone, Dave Vincent, and Dan Varndell. Thanks for being there.
I received two notices about errors made on the recap sheets. My hat goes out to both for their honesty and
making sure things are right. No names
mentioned but thanks again.
Of sad news, Jim Bramlages father past away this past week. Our sympathy goes to Jim and his family.
Lee Crouch informed me that he is going to be a Daddy. Lee and his wife are expecting twins which
are due in late October or early November.

league know about Skins, Greenies, and Long Putt. For
those that do not, each week there will be a sheet and a box on one of the
tables in the clubhouse.
The
sheet will have the names of all the regulars and blank lines at the bottom for
subs to write in their names.

entry fee for Skins; $1.00 entry fee for Greenies and $1.00 entry fee for Long
Putt. Place
a check mark for each category for which you are participating. If the Briefcase is not out notate on your
scorecard your intent to play and pay when you complete your match. First teams out please take the markers, last
teams please bring markers in.
