IRS Golf League Newsletter – May 29, 2013
I heard at the clubhouse that a
couple of our regulars have achieved a significant milestone. I’m told that Pat Breen and Dave Spaeth are now in their 50th year with the IRS
Golf League. Congratulations and many
more years to come.
Corrected for error in spreadsheet formula:
Another week completed and the
competition is heating up. Team Freeman
suffered their 1st loss of the season and dropped to overall 2nd
in team points but leading in D Division, with Team Pfeiffer hot on their tail.
Team Kiffmeyer took over the lead on
overall points. Team Bramlage could be next for the fork, since they are
slowly closing in on Team Schumacher. Editor has to take the last sentence out. Seems like there was an error
in the spreadsheet formula which actually puts Team Bramlage in 1st
place in Division C and puts Team Harms in jeopardy of the fork. And to Mr. Fredrickson, who says no one gets
forked in May, I’m sorry, you did show a gallant effort this week, but now the
fork is being twisted.

Most of the regulars and subs in the
league know about Skins, Greenies, and Long Putt. For
those that do not, each week there will be a sheet and a box on one of the
tables in the clubhouse.
The
sheet will have the names of all the regulars and blank lines at the bottom for
subs to write in their names.
$3.00 entry fee for Skins; $1.00 entry fee for Greenies and
$1.00 entry fee for Long Putt. Place
a check mark for each category for which you are participating.
