Week
5 – May 16, 2018
Another
week of missing bad weather. Only light
rain for a few holes but nothing severe.
Excitement
before the matches this week. Cincinnati’s
finest (Police) showed up in 4 vehicles.
Helicopter was flying overhead.
Seems they were looking for some crazy person. We managed to keep them away from Mr. Kiff. Seems a mental
escapee was on the course and was hauled away.
Thank you Cincinnati PD.
Road
work has started on I 275. Barrels are out,
and sign shows lane closures day and nightly.
There will probably be a lot of delays so plan to head out earlier to
the course.
Subs
this week were: New Sub Gary Ussel (for
Team Bramlage), Ken Holloway (for Team Flynn), Don Potter & Dan Varndell
(for Team Leirey), Bob Kendrach (for Team Halpin), Mike Schwarberg (for Team
Kientz), Carol Goldstone (for Team Patmann), Greg Arkle (for Team Harms), Matt
McRoberts (for Team Buescher), Don Bazsika (for Team Slye), Kelly Johnson (for Team
Freeman), Ken Kostas (for Team Kiffmeyer). Thanks to all for being there.
Ken
Kostas has been added as a restricted sub on Team Kiffmeyer.
We
had one no show this week. Scheduled sub
was unable to make it to the course and didn’t notify anyone until 3:19, too
late to find a sub. Also
for anyone having a sub, please let me know who is subbing for who, so we don’t
keep calling the same subs that are already subbing.
Get
well wishes go out to Rick Taylor (surgery) and Melody
Oswalt (injured hand). Get well soon.

Division A has Team Kientz
taking the lead away from Team Anderson by half a point. Team Bramlage and Team Leirey are tied on
points. Position round could see things
change here.
Secretary
Predictions: Team Anderson takes their
lead back after a close match. Defending
League Champs Team Bramlage gets stomped by Team Leirey as they shoot to the
top of Division.
Division B has Team Harms holding
their lead with Team Slye catching up.
Team Kiffmeyer is not too far back and Team Vaughn brings in the
rear. More changes coming here.
Secretary
Predictions: Team Harms and Team Slye
have a close match with Team Harms holding their position. Team Kiffmeyer gets their whooping from Team
Vaughn but no changes in division position.
Division C has Team
Schumacher maintaining their lead (also at the top of the league points list), followed
by Team Halpin and Team Flynn. Team
Pfeiffer still holds the bottom and is resting on top of the upside-down league
points list.
Secretary
Predictions: Team Schumacher finally
meets their fate and is stomped severely by Team Halpin. Team Flynn vs. Team Pfeiffer I predict that Team
Pfeiffer finally getting a massive win.
Division D has Buescher
jumping to 1st place followed by Team Breen.
Team Freeman loses their lead and falls to 3rd. Team Patmann at the bottom not that far out.
Secretary
Predictions: Team Buescher and Team
Breen have a slug fest on the course with Team Breen taking the lead but not by
much. Team Freeman and Team Patmann come
close to a tie and no change in position.
Maybe
the League President can put some odds on the predictions.

secretary. Mr. Z are you in. Maybe Mr. M. Breen. Or maybe Mr. Anderson. Or was that Mr. Slye. Remember I am always open to
