IRS Golf League Newsletter – May 22, 2013

This past week we had another lightning storm interruption.  There were still some folks that left the course again without completing their round.  Please remind all folks to not leave until formal decision has been made on play by the team captains.

There were a lot of Birdie’s this week, 17 in all, good shooting to all.  Competition is heating up, just hope the weather gets better.

I guess it is that time to officially fork someone. So it is with this that Team Schumacher wins the first honor of officially being forked, with several other teams not too far away from the fork.

And congratulations to Team Freeman who are still on top of the leader board, with a 5 win no loss record.

And more thoughts from the mind of Mr. Tim Feldman:
Haunted French pancakes give me the crępes.
Jokes about German sausage are the wurst.
Velcro -- what a rip off!
       Broken pencils are pointless.

Skins—Greenies—Long Putt

Most of the regulars and subs in the league know about Skins, Greenies, and Long Putt. For those that do not, each week there will be a sheet and a box on one of the tables in the clubhouse.  The sheet will have the names of all the regulars and blank lines at the bottom for subs to write in their names. $3.00 entry fee for Skins; $1.00 entry fee for Greenies and $1.00 entry fee for Long Putt.  Place a check mark for each category for which you are participating.
