Treasurer
Chuck Reckers reports that all regular players are paid and thanks
everyone. Next fees are due June 26 for
those who only paid the 1st half.
Looks
like Team Freeman is running away with it this year. Guess they got tired of last place in prior
years and are now leading the league in points and wins. Congratulations and don’t look back. And with that Team Schumacher temporarily
saved themselves from the fork and won their 1st
match, but they are still treading on thin ice.
Team Flynn is on thin ice also; don’t let the fork get you.
My
admiration goes to a player (no name mentioned here) who called to inform me that
he had missed a stroke on a hole and wanted it counted and it kept him awake
all night thinking about it. This meant
he gave up 4.5 medal points, but says he will definitely sleep better. I applaud him for his honesty.
Seen
around the clubhouse was Mike Donlin. He
still isn’t cleared to play yet but it was a welcome sight to see him at the
course (no pun on the eyes intended).
Some pun input from Mr. Feldman: They told me I had Type-A blood, but it was a Type-O. I stayed up all night to see where the sun went. Then it dawned on me. I did a theatrical performance about puns. It was a play on words.

Putt
There are still
some credits from prior week’s play for several players. Credits are listed on the Skin/Greenie/Long
Putt sheet.
Most
of the regulars and subs in the league know about Skins, Greenies, and Long
Putt. For those that do not, each week there will be a
sheet and a box on one of the tables in the clubhouse.
The sheet will have the names of all the
regulars and blank lines at the bottom for subs to write in their names.
$3.00 entry fee
for Skins; $1.00 entry fee for Greenies and $1.00 entry fee for Long Putt. Place a check mark for each category for
which you are participating.
