IRS WEDNESDAY GOLF LEAGUE
May 7, 2014 Week 3
Beautiful day on the course. Couldn’t ask for better
weather.
Treasurer Chuck Reckers reports that
all regulars are paid. Chuck wishes to
thank everyone.
We had 10 subs this week: Will Freeman, Jeff Barnhorst, John Kaufhold,
E. John Thomas, Mike Schwarberg, Melody Oswalt, Jeff Witt, Dan Varndell, Bill
Holocher, and Greg Arkle. Thanks for
being there.
Top scoring team this week was Team C.
Halpin with 74.5, low was Team Kiffmeyer 15.5.
Current Division Leaders are A
Division – Team Donlin, B Division – Team Breen, C Division - Team Bramlage,
and D Division – Team Anderson.
We had one no show this week due to
illness. Get well to Larry Oliver.
Congratulations go to Ray Vaughn who
retired on May 2. Now he will have more
time for golf. From what I am told Ray
can be found at the Loveland Oasis Golf Club.
Enjoy your retirement.
This past week’s play was on the very
slow side. Reminder to all on the
pick-up rule “Article XVI” (double par +1 must pick up) and also to limit time
spent on trying to find lost balls.

Skins—Greenies—Long Putt
Most of the regulars and subs in the
league know about Skins, Greenies, and Long Putt. For
those that do not, each week there will be a sheet and a box on one of the
tables in the clubhouse.
The
sheet will have the names of all the regulars and blank lines at the bottom for
subs to write in their names.
$3.00 entry fee for Skins; $1.00 entry fee for Greenies and
$1.00 entry fee for Long Putt. Place
a check mark for each category for which you are participating. If the Briefcase is not out notate on your
scorecard your intent to play and pay when you complete your match. First teams out please take the markers, last
team please bring markers in.
