1 – April 18, 2018
Good to see everyone for the start of
another season. Wow, what some great
weather for the 1st week.
Surprised that it warmed up just for our league. Rain held off until after everyone was
finished. Hope the same for next week.
From most of the scores it looks like most
need to get out on the course more or get in some extra practice. Putting was another story since the greens
are still suffering from aeration.
Treasure Chuck Reckers reports that 54
regulars are current on dues/green fees and thanks those league members. There are still 10 outstanding; please bring
your payment on April 25.
Subs this week were: Tim Jahnke (for Team Anderson), Bob Kendrach (for Team Buescher), Mike Schwarberg (for Team
Schumacher), Mary Jo Leirey (for Team Leirey), and Dave Spaeth (for Team
Breen). Thanks for being there.
Heads up on the parking lot. There were 3 vehicles broken into on
Wednesday. These were in the very back end
of the parking lot. Best to not leave
any valuables in your vehicles or keep them out of sight.
Absent this week was our League
President. Col. Schu where are you?

Standings:
Division A has Team Anderson taking the lead with Defending League Champs
Team Bramlage at the bottom. Division B
has Team Kiffmeyer in the lead. Division
C has Team Halpin in the lead. Division
D has Team Breen in the lead. I am sure
these all may change.

Skins—Greenies—Long
Putt
Most
of the regulars and subs in the league know about Skins, Greenies, and Long
Putt. For those that do not, each week there will be a sheet
and a box on one of the tables in the clubhouse. The sheet will have the names of all the
regulars and blank lines at the bottom for subs to write in their names.
$3.00 entry fee for Skins; $1.00 entry fee
for Greenies and $1.00 entry fee for Long Putt. Place a check mark for each category for
which you are participating. If the
Briefcase is not out notate on your scorecard your
intent to play and pay when you complete your match. First teams out please take the markers, last
teams in please bring markers in.
