to those walking both sides, those walking front and riding back, and those
riding both sides. Fees will be due on
July 29th. Check can be
mailed to Chuck, his home address is 5641 Glen Oak, Mason Ohio 45040, or
he will have his car window open enough to drop the check in.
League
Scramble:
Discussion on the Scramble and all present agreed that due to
virus and social distancing that it is best if teams play together (no mixing
players) this year. Best format would be
best ball with each player having to take at least one drive. Cash and golf ball winnings would be given
out at the Outing.
End-of-Year Outing:
- A.J. Jolly sent Brian Anderson an update on outing procedures.
Tee
times only this year, no shotgun start. Tee
times are 10 minutes apart for 2 riders in a cart, 15 minutes for single
riders. No gatherings of more than 50
people. Pro shop closed except for
bathroom use. Grill in pro shop is open
but can only get your order through the window, no service inside. No beer taps allowed, only can beer available
at the patio, not on the course. AJ
Jolly has coolers available to load up before head out. No community coolers on the course.
- Brian talked to Randy from Express Catering about the dinner. They must serve the dinner, no self-service. Must keep 6 feet apart in food line. Cost same as last year $15. Brian will check to see if he can keep serving dinner for the different finishing times.
- It was agreed that there will be no door prizes this year due to social distancing, although Goodie Bags will be given out to all players.
- Chuck Reckers will work the numbers and get the player cost for the Outing put together.
Rain-Out
on July 22:
- Discussion on why the decision to cancel play on July 22. Word from the course staff and condition of the course and current weather were the contributing factors. At the time the course staff said it would be 4:30 to 4:45 before the back nine would be playable at that is if the rain stops. Also, there was lightning in the area with radar showing more coming. There were 9 teams (team captain/team member) that voted to cancel with the information we had at the time.
Meeting adjourned at 7:45
p.m.
Respectfully Submitted,
Charles Halpin
League Secretary
